Ultrathin-walled Design to Eliminate Ledge-Effect
The Esperance™ special dual-layer construction combines a large 0.071" inner lumen with an ultra-low profile 0.081" outer diameter, and a wall thickness of ≤ 0.124 mm. reducing unwanted ledge effect experienced with other large-lumen catheters.

Dual-layer Flat Wire Construction for Improved Navigation
The Esperance™ catheter utilizes a dual-layer flat nitinol construction; wherein, the multi-pitch flat coil windings and unique 16-filament dense flat wire braid allow for improved pushability and catheter navigation.

14 Transition Zones for Flexibility and Support
The Esperance™ catheter is constructed with a variety of polymer materials into 14 transition zones.
Distal: 15 cm ultra-soft segment, delivers flexibility in navigation and placement at the target lesion
Middle: 11 cm transition zone allows smooth pushability and easy manipulation
Proximal: Nylon support segment provides support and stability.
The distal 60 cm portion of Esperance™ employs an advanced dual-system coating which significantly reduces resistance during navigation and allows freer manipulation and delivery.

Ultra-Large Lumen to Enable Compatibility
The 0.071" ultra-large inner lumen is designed for easier capture of thrombi with large thrombus burden in assisted thrombectomy, significantly improving the rate of first-pass TICI 3 recanalization.
The Esperance™ is suitable for the coaxial delivery of devices for multiple intravascular treatment procedures.

Dual Reinforced for Improved Kink Resistance
The dual-layer reinforced nitinol coil/ braid design provides the Esperance™ with excellent kink resistance, and improved lumen integrity in tortuous vessel anatomy ensuring the efficient capture of thrombus, and the smooth delivery of intravascular treatment devices.
Compared with medical grade stainless steel, the nitinol coil/ braid design offers greater kink resistance, reducing the chances of catheter ovalization and derformation.

Smooth Liner to Allow Easy Advancement and Placement
The inner lumen of the Esperance™ catheter is lined with a thin and smooth layer of PTFE, which reduces frictional forces in the delivery of interventional devices.

Large Catheter Lumen for Thrombus Capture to Realize First-pass Recanalization
The 0.071" ultra-large inner lumen effectively increases the contact area between the catheter tip and the thrombus, increasing the first-pass recanalization rate.
